My beloved Buenos Aires
Buenos Aires is the capital of Argentina. It’s an amazing city situated in South America next to “Río de la Plata”. It has about three millions inhabitants. Most of them have come from Italy or Spain.
This incredible city has different places like Caminito, San Telmo, Palermo; all of them with cultural characteristics, great history where most of the Tourists go to take photos and learn about the culture of Buenos Aires. The typical music is Tango, a melancholic melody coming from the suburbs.
There are huge problems in this city.
Firstly, the contamination is an important issue to solve (mostly related to the pollution of cars). People don’t use bins; they throw the trash on the street!
Secondly, the public schools in Buenos Aires are very dangerous because they haven’t got the necessary building conditions where to study.
Buenos Aires isn’t a quiet city. It has a very interesting nightlife. There are discos where people dance, drink, talk to their friends and meet other new people. The discos are very different: there are rock’s discos, techno discos, reggeaton discos, electronic discos.
Another important thing to emphasize about the city is the Soccer which has a lot importance for most of the people who live there. Argentina won two world cups and one of these was taken as a tool to carry out a military dictatorship which people support. It was not something to be glad, but is very useful to explain how important is this sport in Argentinean people. However, the second one in 1986 was in my opinion the most important success in our society, because our flag was flaming against all, and Maradona score the best goal in the history of the football.
Buenos Aires is beloved because of the history and the people. And is very difficult to explain how important is for me the city in a short essay, but just to conclude with this I want to add that the present is challenging, but the future is hopeful.
